Next adventure - Namibia

Time to plan the next holiday. Well maybe not next in time, but next in terms of planning. Early autumn next year we will do Namibia. Flights to the capital, Windhoek via Jo'burgh, is already booked. Rather than doing the traditional guided safari this time in Africa, the plan is to self-drive in our favorite means of transportation, a Land Rover (we live in England after all). You can rent them “expedition equipped” with long range fuel tank, sat phone and tent with bedding to erect on the roof (so nothing will eat you while you sleep). Looking forward to spending 17 days game viewing on the Etosha Pan, exploring the Skeleton Coast and the sand dunes in the Namib Desert.
